Henry III (1216-1272) silver short cross cut halfpenny. Class 6c3, Canterbury mint, moneyer Samuel. Obverse: Facing bust with sceptre: "[HE] NRICVS [REX]". Reverse: Short voided cross with four pellets in each quarter: "[SAM] VEL * ON * C [AN]". Nice collectable condition, see photograph.
