Henry II (1154-1189), silver short cross penny, class 1b, London mint, moneyer Piers. Obverse: Facing bust with sceptre and legend: “HENRICVS REX”. Reverse: Short voided cross with four pellets in each quarter: “PIERES * ON * LVND”. Good collectable condition for type on large flan with light strike on portrait, see photograph.
