Gainsborough (Lincolnshire) silver shilling token dated 1811. Obverse: Sailing ship in centre with legend: “GAINSBRO TOKEN 1811”. Reverse: View of Gainsborough's old three-arched bridge with legend: “FOR TWELVE PENCE”. . Diagonally milled edge (//////). The issuers are unknown however it could have been produced by the manufacturer of the local tradesmen's tokens as the same dies were used.
