Thomas Cartwright and George & Ralph Ferns Stockport (Cheshire) silver shilling token dated 1812. Obverse: Beehive and bees with legend: “T. CARTWRIGHT & G & R. FERNS *** STOCKPORT”. Reverse: Commerce seated on bale holding cornucopia and spear with a sailing ship on the horizon with legend: “ONE SHILLING SILVER TOKEN 1812”. Diagonally milled edge (//////).
