Obverse: Cypher of R&D
crested by a lion with legend: KENDAL. Reverse: Justice
blindfolded standing holding scales and a sword with legend: “FOR CHANGE
NOT FRAUD”. Edge inscription: “PAYABLE IN LANCASTER LONDON OR BRISTOL”.
Only seven token types were issued for Westmoreland, all for Kendal.
