Rare Birmingham Copper Company Mule Farthing 1796

Rare Birmingham (Warwickshire) copper mule Conder farthing token dated 1791. Obverse: Commerce seated on a rock holding a fasces with legend: “COPPER COMPANY 1791”. Reverse: Legend on seven lines: “MAY A FLOWING TRADE FOLLOW A SPEEDY AND HONORABLE PEACE 1796”. Plain edge. Possibly struck by Skidmore for sale to collectors. Listed in Dalton & Hamer as “RARE”. Nice collectable condition for type with some edge bruising, see photograph.
