Rare Birmingham Copper Company Farthing 1791

Rare Birmingham (Warwickshire) copper Conder farthing token dated 1791. Obverse: Commerce seated on a rock holding a fasces with legend: “COPPER COMPANY 1791”. Reverse: Stork on a cornucopia with legend: “FARTHING”. Plain edge. Possibly struck by Skidmore for sale to collectors. Listed in Bell's “Specious Tokens and those struck for General Circulation 1784-1804” as “RARE”. Good collectable condition for type with some obverse edge bruising, see photograph.
