Brighton Army Camp (Sussex) Conder halfpenny token dated 1794. Obverse: Bust of the Prince of Wales facing right: “GEORGE PRINCE OF WALES.”. Reverse: The Price of Wales’ crest of three plumes with his motto “ICH DIEN” on banner: “HALFPENNY 1794”. Edge inscription: “BRIGHTON CAMP HALFPENNY MDCCXCIV X.X.”. During the war with France there was established a military camp at Brighton for which this coin was issued.
