Thomas Tallant's Hoxne (Suffolk) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1795. Obverse: A member of the Loyal Suffolk Yeomanry Cavalry in uniform, dismounted and leaning on his horse, with his left hand resting on his sabre with legend: PRO. ARIS. ET. FOCIS.. Reverse: A castle with two towers on which colours are flying, with 1795 beneath, all encircled by a banner reading: LIBERTY. LOYALTY. PROPERTY, surmounted by a crown with legend: HOXNE & HARTSMERE SUFFOLK LOYAL YEOMANRY CAVALY. Edge inscription: GOD SAVE THE KING AND CONSTITUTION .X.. This was issued by Thomas Tallant who was probably a member of the Hoxne and Hartsmere troop of the Loyal Suffolk Yeomanry Cavalry.
