Bungay (Suffolk) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1794. Obverse: Remains of an ancient fortress with legend: “BUNGAY HALFPENNY”, and “BIGODS CASTLE” in exergue. Reverse: Standing figure of blindfolded Justice holding sword and scales with legend: “FOR CHANGE NOT FRAUD 1794”. Plain edge. Good collectable condition, see photograph.
