Mary Lambe's India House Bath Farthing 1794

Mary Lambe's Bath (Somerset) copper Conder farthing token dated 1794. Obverse: A tea chest inscribed: "M. LAMBE & SON GROCERS BATH", separated by some Chinese characters with legend: "SPICES TEAS SUGARS COFFEES". Reverse: View of the ornate Georgian London Old East India House Tea Exchange building with legend: "STALL STREET BATH INDIA HOUSE 1794". Plain edge. Mary Lamb & Son were grocers and tea dealers of Stall Street in Bath. Ex-Neil Beaton Collection. Lovely collectable condition, see photograph.
