Extremely Rare Ferrier's Church and Water Mill Perth Halfpenny 1797

Extremely rare John Ferrier's Perth (Perthshire) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1797. Obverse: The side view of a church above the sunken arms of Perth: "PERTH HALFPENNY 1797. ST. JOHNS CHURCH.". Reverse: View of a water mill amongst trees: "46 WATER: MILLS FOR BLEACHING. PRINTING. COTTON. WORKS. CORN &c WITHIN 4 MILES OF PERTH+", "WRIGHT. DES:". Plain edge. John Ferrier was a hosier with a business in Perth. According to Dalton & Hamer only 72 of these were struck, some of which were silver, making it "EXTREMELY RARE". Good collectable condition for type with red patination and usual die cuds not well developed, see photograph.
