Buck's Society London Halfpenny 1796

Political and Social Series London (Middlesex) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1796. Obverse: Lovely stag walking to left with legend: “FREEDOM WITH INNOCENCE”. Reverse: Detailed view of a plough with legend: “INDUSTRY SUPPLIETH WANT 1796”. Diagonally milled edge. It is thought that these were possibly struck for the use of the “Buck Society” in London. Nice collectable condition, see photograph.
