Henry Young's London (Middlesex) copper Conder penny token dated 1794. Obverse: Beautiful front view of St. Paul's Cathedral with date “1794” in exergue. Reverse: Order of the Star and Garter: “HONI. SOIT. QUI. MAL. Y. PENSE” with legend: “H. YOUNG. DEALER IN COINS. NO. 18. LUDGATE. ST. LONDON *”. Plain edge. Henry Young was a goldsmith and jeweller who also dealt in coins at his business at Ludgate Hill, within the shadow of St Paul's Cathedral. Nice collectable condition with some subdued lustre remaining, see photograph.
