Henry Young's London (Middlesex) copper Conder penny token dated 1794. Obverse: Beautiful front view of St. Paul's Cathedral with date “1794” in exergue. Reverse: Order of the Star and Garter: “HONI. SOIT. QUI. MAL. Y. PENSE” with legend: “H. YOUNG. DEALER IN COINS. NO. 18. LUDGATE. ST. LONDON *”. Plain edge. Henry Young was a goldsmith and jeweller who also dealt in coins at his business at Ludgate Hill, within the shadow of St Paul's Cathedral. Good collectable condition with a few light edge knocks, see photograph.
