Reverse: Edinburgh Coat of Arms beneath anchor with thistles either side: "EDINBURGH HALFPENNY.". Edge inscription: "PAYABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE OF THOS. & ALEXR. HUTCHISON". Listed in Dalton & Hamer as "SCARCE". Thomas and Alexander Hutchison were Edinburgh merchants with a business in the High Street, Edinburgh. Nice collectable condition see photograph.
