Scarce Liverpool (Lancashire) copper mule Conder halfpenny token dated 1794. Obverse: Cormorant in shield surmounted by another, both holding seaweed in beaks, with bulrushes either side: “DEUS NOBIS HÆC OTIA FECIT 1794”. Reverse: Britannia seated to left holding spear and leaning on shield: “RULE BRITANNIA 1794”. Plain edge. Listed in Dalton & Hamer as “SCARCE”.
