Rare Liverpool (Lancashire) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1792. Obverse: Man of war in full sail to right: “LIVERPOOL HALFPENNY”. Reverse: Cormorant in shield surmounted by another, both holding seaweed in beaks, with bulrushes either side: “DEUS NOBIS HÆC OTIA FECIT 1792”. Edge inscription: “PAYABLE * AT * CRONEBANE * OR * IN DUBLIN * * *”. Listed in Dalton & Hamer as “R - RARE”. Reasonable collectable condition, see photograph. D&H Lancashire No: 104a. Diameter 28mm.
