Rare Camac Kyan and Camac Whiskey Still Dublin Halfpenny 1793

Rare Dublin (County Dublin) copper Conder halfpenny token dated 1793. Issued by The Hibernian Mine Company. Obverse: Hibernia, seated to the right with her left hand on her knee and the right supporting a six-stringed harp, with a small whiskey still beside her: "PAYABLE AT DUBLIN OR BALLYMURTAGH. Reverse: Cypher of "H M Co", (Hibernian Mine Company) with legend: "CAMAC . KYAN AND CAMAC ONE HALFPENNY 1793". Plain edge. The Hibernia Mine Company was started in 1790 and incorporated by Act of Parliament in 1792. The partners at the time of the token’s issue were Turner Camac, John Howard Kyan and John Camac. This a less common design of those produced for this Company. Reasonable collectable condition, see photograph.
