Roe's Macclesfield (Cheshire) copper Conder mule halfpenny token dated 1790. Obverse: Bust of Charles Roe to right: “CHARLES ROE ESTABLISHED THE COPPER WORKS 1758”. Reverse: Seated female holding cogwheel and tool with legend: “HALFPENNY 1790”. Plain edge. This is a contemporary counterfeit of the Charles Roe series. Nice collectable condition on a thin flan, see photograph.
