Spanish Dollars and Silver Tokens - An Account of the Issues of the Bank of England 1797-1816

E. M. Kelly

SOLD

Spink, London, 1976, black cloth hard back with dust jacket, 151 pages, 8 plates, as new. Excellent work on the bank tokens and countermarked foreign silver coins  issued by the Bank of England between 1797 and 1816. Not to be confused with traders' countermarked foreign silver superbly covered in Harrington Manville's "Tokens of the Industrial Revolution - Foreign Silver Coins Countermarked for use in Great Britain, c.1787-1828" which only touches very briefly on the Bank of England issues.

Dimensions 250x190mm. £20.00
