Extremely rare private publication by the author of the collection of his papers which appeared in "Scottish Notes and Queries" between 1902 and 1906. This is number 50 of the fifty copies produced, and is initialled by the author prior to their distribution in 1907. It also contains standard articles on other subjects that appeared in the same issues of the host magazine which make fascinating reading. In its original green hardback cover, the binding is slightly loose with no foxing to the pages. It is heavily annotated with entries underlined in red ink.
