Rare T. W. Ingram Abergavenny Victoria Farthing

Rare T. W. Ingram's Abergavenny (Monmouthshire) farthing token undated. Obverse: Legend on six lines, the top and bottom two curved: "T. W. INGRAM TEA DEALER & GROCER ----- HIGH ST. ABERGAVENNY". Reverse: Bust of Victoria to left with legend: "VICTORIA QUEEN OF GREAT BRITAIN". Plain edge. Listed in Bell's "Unofficial Farthings a Supplement" as "RARE". This is an unusual token featuring the name of the diesinker and manufacturer T. W. Ingram in place of the trader who otherwise cannot be traced. Nice collectable condition, see photograph.
