Australian Communion Token from Hughes-Curtin, St. James's Church, Canberra, undated but circa 1966. Oval on gilt bronze. Obverse: Three shells and number "400" in sunken centre with text: "ST. JAMES HUGHES - CURTIN". Reverse: Text on four lines, the bottom curved: "THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME 1 COR. XI. 24" with manufacturer's name below: "MILLERS SYD". The three scallop shells represent the symbol for St. James. They are more frequently displayed on a shield. My thanks go to Connie Hudson for this additional information.
